Role Overview The Cabinette is Female Founder Collective's membership for high-growth, later-stage founders — part think tank, part mastermind, part concierge of wisdom, resources, and real-time support. Members connect through curated virtual and in-person programming, from intimate dinners to tentpole events like Builders Table and Ascent.
We're looking for an Interim Program Manager to step in as the central operational lead for The Cabinette while our Program Director is on maternity leave. You'll own the day-to-day: timelines, budgets, events, and member-facing programming. You'll keep cross-functional teams moving and make sure everything ships on time and to the standard our members and partners expect.
This is a hands-on role. You'll step into programming that's already in motion, so you need to get up to speed fast and run with it.
CORE OBJECTIVES The Cabinette - Keep the 2026 cohort running seamlessly through the final event in January 2027 --- Builders Table: December 2026, Miami - Planning is led by the current Program Director; you'll own the post-event wrap remotely, including budget reconciliation and final invoicing to accounting --- Final Assembly (cohort wrap event): January 2027, location TBD Partner with the team to kick off 2027 planning and keep it moving through mid-March 2027
Success looks like: - Every scheduled Cabinette event executed on time and on budget - 2027 Cabinette planning kicked off and on track by mid-March 2027 - Program timeline and budget actuals kept current and handoff-ready - A clear, organized handoff back to the Program Director at the end of the term
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Program Operations & Planning - Own the weekly team meeting: set the agenda, lead the discussion, and keep the group on topic and on schedule - Own the master program timeline and workback schedules across pre-launch, active programming, and wrap - Manage the Cabinette budget: scenarios, allocation, and real-time tracking of actuals against target - Coordinate cross-functional teams across programming, social, community, and brand partnerships - Report on budget and program status to FFC leadership - Partner with Community, Programming, and Partnerships to map the 2027 cohort member journey, pulling together the team's ideas and building a shared tracker to keep planning organized
Event Production (In-Person) - Lead planning and execution of in-person Cabinette events during the term - Source and manage vendors, venues, and logistics from pre-production through on-site, securing creative and spend approvals from Ali - If not on-site, be available by phone or video on event day to manage logistics remotely - Align stakeholders on roles and responsibilities for each event - Own design collateral, creating it directly or briefing the Lead Designer as needed, and facilitate feedback/approvals with Ali - Partner with Brand Partnerships to build sponsor deliverables into event plans, run of show, and on-site execution
Marketing, Content & Microsite - Outline the social and marketing plan across each event lifecycle (promo, live capture, recap) and direct the social team on content needs - Oversee co-branded materials and marketing collateral with the Marketing lead - Co-manage microsite content and design updates with the Head of Community
Impact & Reporting - Track post-cohort wrap metrics (attendance, sponsors, social, PR, team feedback) and keep reporting current for leadership
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE Must-haves - 4-5+ years in project or program management, including hands-on event production, ideally at an agency, membership community, or media brand - Proven track record producing high-touch events (intimate dinners to multi-day summits) for VIP or executive audiences - Strong budget management skills; comfortable owning budget trackers and reporting actuals to leadership - Highly organized operator who builds workbacks and holds everyone to them, from internal teams to partners and vendors: sets clear owners and deadlines, flags risks early, and follows through until things are done - Understands how sponsor commitments shape an event and can work hand in hand with a partnerships team to deliver them - Ramps up fast on a program that's already in motion - Decisive: makes confident calls without waiting on perfect information, knows when to escalate to leadership and when to just handle it, and owns the outcome - Clear, warm communicator who's comfortable with founders, sponsors, and vendors alike - Fluent in Google Workspace, Slack, and Canva - Able to travel to in-person events as needed (e.g., NYC, LA, Miami)
Nice-to-haves - Partnership marketing experience - Microsite or CMS experience - Familiarity with the female founder or startup ecosystem
